Kristin Mountjoy is a mixed media artist based in Brisbane, known for reimagining colourful landscapes and wildlife through painting and textiles—often blending the two in playful, layered ways. She studied at the Brisbane Institute of Art from 1998–2000, completing courses in painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, and digital media, and has continued to develop her practice through ongoing workshops.
Kristin has exhibited widely in Brisbane and completed numerous private commissions. She is currently Artist-in-Residence at Paddington C&K and works as a creative facilitator with Communify’s Sip and Paint program and NDIS clients through CommunARTy.
